Obituary
Theressa Ann (Todd) Vanderhyde, age 86, of Madge, WI, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Hayward Health Services in Hayward, WI.
Theressa was born on October 14, 1936, at her home in Madge, to parents Maurice and Anna (Donaldson) Todd. Theressa graduated from Spooner High School, and she lived most of her life in Madge. Theressa had 4 beautiful children with her ex-husband, Don Vanderhyde, and moved to Spooner after their divorce in the 1980’s.
Theressa enjoyed horses, dancing to slow country, taking walks to pick blackberries, and playing card games with her favorite being smear. Most of all she loved her family and spent most of her life being a homemaker taking care of her family.
Theressa is survived by her children, Lucy, Jeff, Tammy, and Kevin; grandchildren, Adam, Bobby, Ashley, and Dylan; great grandchildren, Jayden, Mikaylaa, Graycen, Maelee, Finley, Chevy, and Eleanor; sister, Cathy (Harley) Wickware; brother, Lonnie Todd; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Elizabeth; and siblings, Melvin, Mae, Evelyn, Carol, and Albert; and son-in-law, Bob Braeckman.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at the Spooner Funeral Home. An interment will follow at the Madge Cemetery.
