Terry Leonard Kannegiesser

Terry Leonard Kannegiesser, age 74, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.  He was born on May 4, 1948 in South Milwaukee, WI, the son of Leonard and Donna (Stillman) Kannegiesser.  He was united in marriage to Diana Warlin.

Terry most recently worked as body shop manager for Link Brothers Ford in both Rice Lake and Minong.  Auto racing was his passion from the time he was a young boy watching his father race and then later in life helping friends and his grandson with their race cars.  He enjoyed the Northwoods living, hunting, fishing, and cooking on the grill or in the smoker.  He was also very active following his grandchildren’s athletics.  

He is survived by his children, Shelly (Randy) Kannegiesser of Hayward, WI, Terry (Sandy) Kannegiesser of Hayward, WI, and Lori (Brian) Kannegiesser of Surprise, AZ; grandchildren, Jessica, Denise, James, Brian, Brady, Bria, Sammie, Skyler, and Kenzie; great-grandchildren, Oakley, Natalie, Racquel, and Bexley; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diana (Warlin) Kannegiesser, and his sister, Jean St. Martin.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Namekagon Congregational UCC, W4446 Friday Street, in Earl, WI.  Interment will be held privately.
