Teresa "Terry" Patzke

Teresa “Terry” Patzke, age 90, of Winter, WI passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Hayward Health Services. 

Terry was born June 28, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Edward and Katheryne (Brannen) Heckel.  She was raised in Wauwatosa, WI where she graduated from high school.  She then attended Downer College in Milwaukee where she was educated to be an occupational therapist.  She moved to Michigan where she worked for a time as an occupational therapist.  Terry was joined in marriage to Louis Patzke on August 2, 1963 in Milwaukee.  Together they settled in Wauwatosa where Terry worked as a social worker for Milwaukee County.  They began vacationing in Sawyer County, WI where they purchased a cabin at Blaisdell Lake.  In 2005, Terry and Louis replace the cabin with a new log home and made it their retirement home.  Terry enjoyed knitting, gardening, taking long bicycle rides and going for long walks with her dog, Moli.

Terry is survived by her husband of 57 years, Louis; one son, Jim Wicker of Clayton, WI; and one niece, Julie Witmer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Katherine and Corinne.

No public service are planned at this time for Terry.
