Steven Michael Mullikin

Steven Michael Mullikin, age 64, of Gordon, WI, passed away Sunday February 23, 2025 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN.  He was born on May 14, 1960 in Shell Lake, WI, the son of Donald Robert and Judy Ann (Lemke) Mullikin.  He was united in marriage to Mary Sue McNaughton on September 5, 1981 in East Troy, WI. 

Steve was raised and attended school in East Troy, WI.  Shortly after they married, he and Mary moved to Spooner, WI to fulfill his dream of living in the Northwoods.  He worked as a woodsman for several years before taking a position at Louisiana Pacific in Hayward.  Steve finished his career as a service technician for Link RV in Minong.  He was a very generous man and was someone who was always willing to help.  He enjoyed all the Northwoods had to offer, camping, riding snowmobiles/ATV’s, hunting and fishing, especially ice fishing.  He also enjoyed cheering on all the local sports teams, the Brewers, the Badgers, the Packers and watching NASCAR.  Most of all, Steve loved his family and was adored by his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Mary Mullikin of Gordon; his sons, Cory (Cheryl) Mullikin of Barron and Mike Mullikin of Spooner; his grandchildren, Aspen, Taten, Cyrice, Hadley, Ryan, Tara, and Kora; his great-grandchildren, Emily, Rhyleigh, Paysleigh, Leightyn, Liam, Alvin and Amaya; his parents, Donald and Judy Mullikin of Shell Lake, WI; his siblings, Julie Mullikin and Timmy Mullikin both of Shell Lake, WI; and his nephews, Justin and Matthew Mullikin. 

Steve is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard and Mary Mullikin and Richard and Margaret Lemke.
