Ryan Predni

Ryan Predni, 59, of Trego, WI, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle against Acute Myeloid Leukemia on June 29, 2026.

Ryan was born on November 19, 1966, to Carol and Richard Predni. During and after graduating from Spooner High School, he worked at the family business, The Prime Bar, while also working at White Armature.

In 1994 Ryan began his 32-year career at the Spooner School District as a custodian then went on to be the Building and Grounds Director and Custodial Supervisor. That same year he married his wife Michelle at Telemark Lodge in Cable, WI. They were married for 34 years. In 1999 they had their only daughter, Brandi.

His enjoyments in life included running his business of training dogs, Oak Ridge Kennels. Ryan also loved hunting, fishing, trapping, ATVing, and camping. The thing he loved most was lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He will be remembered for his generosity and hard work.

Ryan is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; daughter, Brandi; sister, Julie (Woody); and father-in-law, Ray; along with many pets.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Predni; father, Richard Predni; brother, Randy; mother-in-law, Pat; brother-in-law, Rick; and many other family members.

A visitation will be held at the Spooner High School Auditorium on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Burial and graveside service will be at the Spooner Cemetery with a gathering to follow at Hubs Riverbend in Trego.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for designation in Ryan’s memory.
