Robert “Bob” Schlitz, AKA Beezer, Bobbo, and Booger, age 73, a resident of Spooner, Wisconsin, died on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at his home. Bob was born on May 1, 1953, in Kenosha, Wisconsin to parents Richard and Dorothy (Vail) Schlitz. He graduated High School in Kenosha and then went to Colorado where lived and worked for 30 years, before retiring to Spooner in 2012. He obtained his many nicknames from his many family and friends that were dear to him. Bob was an avid golfer, dart thrower, and loved bowling. He was a generous donor to local Fire and Police Depts, and the local animal rescue facilities. Bob is survived by his mother Dorothy Schlitz, sister Cheryl Effertz, dog Abby, and his many good friends. Bob is preceded in death by his father Richard and brother Ricky.
