Robert Dean Pittman, age 66, passed away February 23, 2026, at his residence in Stone Lake, WI. He was born on July 4, 1959, in St. Paul, MN, son of John Edward and Beverly Mary (Christison) Pittman.
Often referred to as “Uncle Buck” or simply “Bob”, he spent most of his career driving truck over the road. He enjoyed living in the Northwoods and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Bob loved mechanics, spending countless hours building and restoring cars and motorcycles. Cooking was another of his passions and he often watched cooking shows on television to find new recipes and inspiration. Bob had a reputation for hosting fourth of July parties to both celebrate his birthday and to “blow stuff up”. He was also a gifted artist, enjoying carving and painting. Most of all, Bob loved his family and friends. He was a kind and generous man and was an uncle to everyone.
Bob is survived by his sister, Eileen (Michael) Lundin of Hudson, WI; his uncle Dean Christison of White Bear Lake, MN; his sister-in-law, Penny Pittman of Mason, MI; nieces Rebecca (Larry) Peterson, Angela (Tony) Schoettle, Susan Lundin, Katie (Matthew) Ryan; nephews Glen Roepke and John David Pittman; as well as many great-nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John L. Pittman; his sisters, Marlene Roepke and Jean Leckel; his brother-in-law Randy Leckel; and nieces Heather Lundin and Mary Roepke.
A celebration of life will be held August 1, 2:00pm at Clear Lake Park, Clear Lake, WI.
