Richard “Dick” Mott, of Sarona, WI, a lifelong farmer and skilled mechanic, passed away on December 19, 2024, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 6, 1948, he spent his life working the land and fixing anything with an engine.
He was a problem-solver and a creative thinker, known for his ability to repair and maintain equipment. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his kind heart, and his ability to make a lasting impact on those around him. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched throughout his life.
Richard “Dick” Mott is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Inez; his children, Carol (James), Peggy (Josh), and Dean (Sara); his brother, Byron; sister-in-law, Linda; his grandchildren, Jade, Karly, Brit, Branden, Blake, and Cooper; and his great-grandchildren, DJ and Zayden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Laura Mott; his brother, David; and his sister, Janice.
Richard “Dick” Mott will be deeply missed, and his memory will be cherished forever.
A private committal service will be held for Richard at a later time.
