Pauline L Peterson

Pauline Peterson, age 78, a resident of Webster, Wisconsin, died on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Lakeview Medical Center in Stillwater, Minnesota.

Pauline was born in Minnesota to parents Willard and Lucille Fitzsimmons on January 13, 1947.  After high school, she began a fulfilling career as a nurse working in the nursing home profession caring for elderly patients.  When not at work, she enjoyed listening to 1950’s music, watching Westerns, and being there to provide care to her family and loved ones.

Pauline is survived by her step children: Jennifer (Mark Kurasz) Brunner of Medford, Wisconsin, Sarah (Tony Scalzo) Lindberg of Cambridge, Minnesota, Jeremy (Kandi) Fleischhacker of Durant, Oklahoma, 12 step grandchildren: Nathan, Kyrsten, Megan, Matthew, Cassidy, Ellie, Brandon, Jesse, Evan, Avery, Israel, and Bella, and her brother Jim Steinmetz of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Bud, Bob, Terry, Donny, Dick, and Lee Fitzsimmons, first husband Russell Haaf, second husband Don Peterson, and current husband Don Fleischhacker.

Funeral services for Pauline Peterson will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Spooner Funeral Home at 11am, with visitation prior from 10-11am at the Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 2pm, at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Webster, Wisconsin.
