Patricia Ann Aasen

Patricia A. Aasen, age 79, of Draper, WI passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at her home. 

Patricia Ann was born February 8, 1942, in Chicago, IL the daughter of Anthony and Agnes (Kass) Leidolf.  She was raised in Chicago and attended school there.  On July 7, 1959, Patricia was joined in marriage to Carl Aasen in Chicago.  Patricia and Carl began a family which would grow to include seven children.  They lived in Chicago until 1972 when they moved to South Elgin, IL.  After Patricia’s youngest child was in school, she began work with South Elgin Manor in their laundry department.  She worked her way up to the head of all housekeeping and the laundry.  In the mid 1990’s, Patricia and Carl moved to Draper, WI where Pat took a job with Winter Clothesline where they did laundry for many local resorts and businesses.  Patricia worked into her early 70’s before retiring.  She was a very hard worker her entire life and was extremely dedicated to her family.  She enjoyed her fall trips to La Crosse, WI where she would meet up with friends for the Octoberfest celebration.  She loved her dogs and cooking for her family. 

Patricia is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carl; six children, Debbie (Jon) Swanson of Marengo, IL, Carl Aasen Jr. of Rockford, IL, Tammy (Vincent) Schubbe of Loretta-Draper, WI, Sandy (Dale) Coughran of Kingston, IL, Robert (Susie) Aasen of Sycamore, IL and Jennifer (Jeff) Jackson of Manteno, IL; grandchildren, Brad (Christine) Swanson, Eric (Kelly) Swanson, Vincent Schubbe, Stephanie Schubbe, Timothy Schubbe, Becky (Tony) Alejandres, Jake (Brook) Coughran, Taylor Aasen, Dennis (Winnie) Markham, Jeffrey Jackson, Ashley Jackson, Jessica (Oscar) Linares; great grandchildren, Madison, Samantha, Natalia, Christian, Savannah, Carter, Greyson, Kinsley, Vanessa, Noah, Keegan, Colin, Kaleb, Alexis, Emma, Nathaniel, Elias; one brother, John (Cindy) Leidolf of Loretta, WI; one sister, Nancy Ridley of Chicago, IL; and close nephews, Richard and Tony Leidolf along with many additional nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Agnes; son, Michael; grandson, Nicholas Swanson; three sisters, Joan Chesmore, Mary Curtis, Antionette Lundgren; and one brother, Joe Leidolf.

A service will be held for Patricia at a later date to be announced.  Interment will be in the Loretta-Draper Cemetery.
