Pamela L Simmons

Pamela L. Simmons, age 69, of Seeley, passed away on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023, at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital, with her loving family by her side.

Pam was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 1, 1954, the daughter of Loretta Bigott and stepfather James Bigott. She moved to Wisconsin in 1978. She married James Simmons on August 20, 1994, at her parents’ house on Garden Lake. She worked for Essentia Health Hayward for 17 years.

She lived a fulfilled life where her joy came from her fur babies, children, and grandchildren. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and so much more. She loved the Packers, her dog Tucker, and her cat Belly, and she loved spending her time outside taking care of her plants, flowers, and pool. She was the life of the party, a real spitfire some would say. There was never a dull moment when you were with Pam, and you were sure to laugh when she was around, especially if her best friend Susie was by her side.

She is survived by her beloved husband James Simmons; Stepfather James Bigott; Children Christine (Todd) Miller, Lori (Tom) Gustafson, Billy (Lisa) Mossuto, Heather (Jake) Kinnunen, and Tanya (Brian) Mudgett; Siblings Allen (Patsy) Svihlik, Henry (Heather Antilla) Bigott, Frank (Tracy) Bigott, Jimmy (Yenibeth) Bigott, Judy Svihlik; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother Loretta Bigott, father Edward Svihlik and her brothers Kenneth Svihlik and Robert Svihlik.

She will be so deeply missed by her family and friends. To honor Pam’s life there will be a Memorial Mass on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior at Saint Ann Catholic Church, 13645 CTH-M Cable, WI  54821. The burial will follow.
