Nicoli Ann Cormell

 Nicoli Ann Cormell, age 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the Frederic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born February 13, 1946 in Alva, Oklahoma, the daughter of Eugene and Marjorie (Costello) North.  

Nicoli was born in Alva Oklahoma and raised in Kansas where she graduated from McPherson Senior High School.  She was a skilled artist but always very humble about her talents.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh, but was never afraid to speak her mind.  She had a passion for reading, especially murder mysteries.  She had an appreciation for bad ass cars, she loved her Austin Healy Sprite and her Camaro most of all.   Most of all, Nicoli loved her family. Especially her grandchildren that were always able to brighten her spirits even on her worst day.

She is survived by her three sons, Christopher (Nikki) Cormell of Wyoming, MN, Jeffrey (Sarah) Cormell of Hayward, WI and Travis (Desiree) Cormell of Webster, WI; her grandchildren, Jess, Liam, Riley, Elise, Braden, Adrienne and Carrick; her sister, Debi (Les Korth) Abney of Fox Lake, WI; her step-brothers, Lee (Tracy) Adams of Lake of the Ozarks, MO and John Adams of Fort Hays, KS; her cousins, Libby Meade and Becky Hill; her nieces, Rachael Maes and Heather Abney; and many other dear family members and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene North and Margery Costello; and her step-father, Robert Adams. 

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Spooner Funeral Home, 306 Rusk Street in Spooner, where a time of sharing will be held at 5:00 P.M.  Interment will be held privately. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
