Mildred Mary (Mascotti) Michal

Mildred Mary “Scotty” Michal, age 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2020 at her residence in Solon Springs, WI.  She was born April 19, 1924 in Mosinee, WI, the daughter of Louis and Katherine (Lanzi) Mascotti.  She was united in marriage to Terrence F. Michal on February 7, 1945 in Columbus, OH.

Scotty and Terrence moved to Solon Springs in 1946.  She worked with her husband as an office assistant for Mosinee Paper Mill until her retirement in 1985.  She loved watching football, especially the Minnesota Vikings, golf and Chicago Cubs baseball.  She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Mark Remker) Tuttle of Solon Springs, WI and Rita (Larry) Martichuski of Duluth, MN; her granddaughter, Shelly (Jorn van der Meer) Tuttle; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Quinten van der Meer; and her grand pets, Nels and Katie.

In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Terrence Michal; her grandson, Richard Tuttle; and her brother, Elmer Mascotti.
