Maurice Maynard Murray

Maurice Murray, age 86, of Hayward, WI, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Tamarack Health.

Maurice was born on May 29, 1938, in La Crosse, WI to parents, Everett and Delphia Murray. Maurice joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany before joining and retiring from the Air Force reserves. Maurice worked at American Motors for 30 years. Maurice married the love of his life, Virgina Singerhouse.

Maurice was a meticulous and hard worker. Every piece of equipment that he used was cleaned before putting it away. He loved working outside mowing his property and tending to his garden. His warm personality and kind smile will be greatly missed.  His loving and fun nature always had a way of making people laugh.

Maurice is survived by his wife, Virginia; children, Deborah Sue Fazio of Thrall, TX, Curtis Charles Brendemihl, of Kenosha, WI, and Cynthia Kay (Mark) Boyle, of Hayward, WI; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Linda Lee Burrow; and grandson, Jacob Brendemihl.

A memorial service will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church in Hayward, WI, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior.
