MaryJo Ann (Morgan) Wehmhoefer

MaryJo Ann Wehmhoefer, age 78, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Shell Lake Health in Shell Lake, WI.  She was born on December 29, 1947, in Spooner, WI, the daughter of Wendell and Pauline (Schullo) Morgan.  She was united in marriage to Robert Wehmhoefer on February 23, 1974, in Spooner.

MaryJo was raised in Spooner, where she attended school.  She graduated from Beauty School in 1966.  She lived in Trego, WI, and worked at the Trego Dinner Bell and Swanee’s City Club Bar.  She later worked as a beautician for Kay Lynn Beauty Salon, where she would eventually become the owner.  MaryJo had many interests, including reading, gambling, cooking and baking, fishing, four-wheeling, playing pool, and doing makeup and hair.  She also loved plants and has shared many of them with her family and friends. 

She is survived by her brother, Paul (Debra) Morgan of Trego; her nephews, Keith (Jessica) and Josh (Tanya); her niece, Wendy (Mike); her great-nieces and nephews, Mason (Lexi), Ava, Mattie, Parker, Zoe, Carson, Braxton, Blake, Dylan and Jordan.

In addition to her parents, MaryJo is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Wehmhoefer; and her special companion, Ed Green. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Spooner Funeral Home, 306 Rusk Street in Spooner, WI.  Interment will be held privately.
