Margaret “Peg” Mae Suino Gregerson, aged 90, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 at her residence in Hayward, WI. She was born on March 3, 1935, to Ferdinand R. and Doris V. (Graebel) Grage in Highbridge, WI. Peg attended Section V Grade School. She graduated from Mellen High School and Ashland Teacher’s College. She taught school at DuPont Elementary in Washburn, WI.
On August 27, 1955, she was united in marriage to George M. Suino of Laurium, MI. After George graduated from Northland College, they moved to Hayward, WI, where George taught U.S. History and some Suino History. George and Peg were the parents of six wonderful children. Summers found them helping run the concession stand for the Hayward Hawks. George passed away in 2001.
Peg enjoyed working at Rivkins, Hamlets, Flowers and Things and Northern Lakes Co-op.
On January 13, 2004, she married Glenn R. Gregerson. They enjoyed spending time in Mesa, AZ, casino visits, and bus tours. Glenn passed away in 2020.
Peg enjoyed bingo, bowling, knitting, and working in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, George; her sister Ruby Jean; her brother-in-law, Doug Staub; her daughter-in-law, May Suino; her second husband, Glenn; her stepson, Mark; and her stepdaughter-in-law, Cara.
Surviving her are her children, Mark (Lillian) Suino of Hayward, WI, Paul (Monty Van Wart) Suino of Riverside, CA, Connie (John) Olson of Hayward, WI, David Suino of Fall Creek, WI, Kevin Suino of Menominee Falls, WI and Bruce (Sara) Suino of Rochester, MN; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two stepsons. Also surviving are Peg’s two brothers, Ferdinand (Donna) Grage of Hurley, WI and Mitchell (Lori Sunie) Grage of Highbridge, WI; her special friends (you know who you are); and her beloved cat, Midnight.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Hayward Funeral Home, 15571 County Highway B in Hayward, where visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. until the service time. Private interment will be held in the summer in Greenwood Cemetery.
Do not be sad because she died. Be happy that she lived. Enjoy quality time with a loved one – renew old acquaintances before it’s too late!
