Linda Margaret Morgan

Linda M. Morgan, 64, of Cumberland, Wisconsin, and formerly from Superior, Wisconsin, went to be with our Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021, at her home.  Linda was born on August 21, 1956, in Duluth, Minnesota, daughter of Louise and Tom Morgan.  She attended her early years of school in Evanston and Glenview, Illinois.  She moved with her family to Hayward, Wisconsin, where she graduated from high school.  She attended college to be an LPN in Superior, Wisconsin, and in Minnesota.  A few years later, she became a Paramedic and a Medical Examiner.  She worked for the Douglas County Ambulance Service and for the Douglas County Medical Examiner’s office for many years.  When she retired from Douglas County, she moved to Cumberland, Wisconsin, where she worked as a traveling LPN until she became ill in August of 2020.  She was a great lover of animals and always had pet dogs and sometimes pet cats.  She was a very loving wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, and aunt.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Chaffee, Cumberland, Wisconsin; her son, Jason Morgan, Rice Lake, Wisconsin; several step-children; two brothers, Terry (Nancy) Morgan, Cumberland, Wisconsin, and Rick (Kathy) Morgan, Isanti, Minnesota; one sister, Sherry (Donald) Salmonson, Stanchfield, Minnesota; and many nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews, and several cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Tom Morgan.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on February 11, 2021, at the Spooner Funeral Home in Spooner, Wisconsin, with Rev. Donald Salmonson officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
