Linda Jo Drinkwater

Linda Jo Drinkwater of Seattle, Washington, died peacefully in her home on May 14, 2022.

Linda was born October 25, 1946, to Eugene E. Drinkwater and Shirley (Medley) Drinkwater in Providence, Rhode Island. Linda lived numerous places across the United States as her father was career military. The family spent many vacations at the cabin in Dunn Lake. Linda’s career was as an insurance liaison for Children’s Hospitals in San Francisco and later in Seattle. Linda traveled extensively and also enjoyed folk dancing. She treasured her vacations at Dunn Lake visiting her family.

Linda is survived by her brother, James (Jeannie) Drinkwater, of Spooner and her sister-in-law Sunja Drinkwater, of Fremont, California, and nephew, Joseph (Sarah) Drinkwater of Georgetown, Texas. Linda is also survived by many good friends in the Seattle area who shared her love of travel and folk dancing.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Shirley (Medley) Drinkwater, of Spooner, and brother Seth Eugene Drinkwater, of Fremont, California.

Interment will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Spooner Cemetery.

After the interment, refreshments will be served at the Drinkwater cabin on Dunn Lake.
