Leslie is survived by his brothers, Ray Martinson, Menomonie, WI, and Alan (Jodi) Martinson in Verona, WI, and his sister, Elaine (John) Peterson in Stoughton, WI. Les was Uncle Leslie to his nieces Cecelia (Christopher) Thompson, Angela (Erik) Otterson and Jazmin (Tim) Erickson. Les had five great nieces and one great nephew.

A lifetime resident of Hayward, Leslie served the Hayward School District and community for 40 years as high school custodian. In retirement, Les spent time following friends on Facebook, learning about repairs with YouTube videos, gardening, feeding birds (especially hummingbirds), riding his tractor and online auctions. Les enjoyed traveling with family to Chicago, Madison, Disney World, and rock hunting in the Western states. Leslie and his dog Lacey had a daily route beginning each morning at Snap Fitness and then to Hayward businesses. Les thanks everyone for giving Lacey treats and attention.
