Lee Walter Goette

Lee Walter Goette, age 65, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at his residence in Minong, Wisconsin.  He was born on May 7, 1954 in Morris, MN, the son of Eugene and Delores (Treien) Goette.  He was united in marriage to Laurie Elaine Pagel.

Lee was an avid Vikings fan who enjoyed gardening and spending time with his children and grandchildren. 

He is survived by his children, Lee Goette Jr. of Minong, WI, Lance (Jaimie) Goette of South Range, WI, Lonnie Goette of Thorp, WI, Lania (Duane) Grimm of Trego, WI and Lindsey Goette of Culver, MN; fourteen grandchildren; his siblings, Bruce (Donna) Goette of Green Isle, MN, Glen (Linda) Goette of West Columbia, SC and Henry (Tammy) Goette of Chokio, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Lee is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Laurie Goette; and his sister, Diane Garcia. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Hayward Funeral Home, 15571 W. County Highway B in Hayward, where visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Minong.
