Surrounded by loved ones at home, Lea Ann Baxter peacefully left this life for her next chapter.
Born to William and Jennie Baxter, Lea was the fifth of seven children. Her bustling home led Lea to blossom on the debate team and in drama classes while attending Auburn High. Lea continued her love of learning at Rock Valley College. Lea's free time was spent cheering on the Cubs and Bears, engaging in family game night, or trivia games. During a challenging time in her life she met her true soul mate, Howard Dahle. They were blessed with 28 wonderful years of love, compassion, and joy. Retiring to northern Wisconsin they shared her last few years together holding hands, fishing, and enjoying each other's company.
Lea's passing will continue to hurt those who love her. She leaves behind her husband and their daughters, Alana, Heather, Taylor, and Sabrina. Lea was affectionately known as Grammy to Madison, Nathan, Audra, Lydia, Tatum, and her great-granddaughter, Everly.
Lea is survived by her mother, all of her siblings (Bill, Deb, Bob, Paul, Ron, and Randy), and her best friend/sister-in-law, Marcia. Lea joined her grandparents, father, special nephew, Michael, brother-in-law, Harold, and her beloved mother-in-law, Helga in heaven.
