He was born on December 17, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Spencer and Helen Harder. Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy; his
sister, Joan Greene, and his brothers, Ron Harder and Dennis Levreau. He is lovingly survived by his children, Margie (Wes) Borgen, Kay (Doug) Rowe, Andy (Lynn) Harder, and David (Annette) Harder; his siblings, Judy (Dar) Hoefs, Jean Jackson, Sharron (Tom) O’Brien and Rick (Bonnie) Harder; 8 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces and

In 1967, Larry and Dorothy moved to Spooner, where they started and co-owned the carnival, Indianhead Amusements. Larry was a talented woodworker who built many musical
instruments for friends and family, along with bird and bat houses for the wildlife in their yard. He and Dorothy also enjoyed tending large gardens and fruit trees together.
Larry was a master tinkerer, especially when it came to anything mechanical. He loved to talk and could strike up a conversation with anyone, leaving a lasting impression with his friendly and
outgoing nature.
