Kathleen Rose "Kay" (Manson) Hoyer

Kathleen (Kay) Rose Hoyer (nee Manson) passed away August 9th at age 87.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents John and Rose Manson, her sisters, Marianne Madrigano, and Janet Andreoli. 

She is survived by her loving husband, William John Hoyer, and sister, Lois Finch. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. Kay attended St. Thomas grade school and Mary Bradford High School in Kenosha.

After a year at UW Madison, she had careers at the Telephone Company, the Notre Dame Convent in Elm Grove, and helping Bill with his business before retiring to Barnes, WI.  Kay loved baking, sewing, and working on art projects. She was always thinking of ways to help others. She loved everyone she met, and they loved her.

A special thank you to the caregivers at Aspen Acres and Moments Hospice in Hayward for their love and compassion for Kay. 

Services to be handled by Bratley-Nelson Funeral Home, 15571 W County Highway B, Hayward, WI 54843 .  A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 10586 N. Dakota Ave., Hayward, WI on Oct. 15th at 11:00 a.m.

If desired, donations can be made to the Barnes Community Shelf or the Maryknoll Sisters.
