Kathleen Carson

Kathleen Lou Carson, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at her residence in Spooner, WI.  She was born on May 6, 1946, in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of Robert S. and Loretta D. (Starke) Tegtmeyer.  She was united in marriage to George Carson III. 

Kathleen worked as the Secretary Treasurer for her and George’s company, Carson Forestry Products Inc.  She loved flowers and had a soft heart for dogs, especially Barker, Diesel and Teddy.  She also enjoyed puzzles, word games and the game show Jeopardy, which family and friends knew not to interrupt her while she was watching.   She was sassy and quick-witted, however very stubborn and at times downright cantankerous. 

She is survived by her brother, Donald (Barbara) Tegtmeyer of Bartlett; her sister, Dianne (Robert) Baker of Hoffman Estates, IL; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen is preceded in death by her beloved husband, George; and her brothers, Kenneth and Robert Jr.

A private service was held and she was laid to rest in Spooner Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
