Joy Annette “Tootie” Quale, age 65, of Cable passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2024. She was born on March 19, 1959 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Harry James and Patricia Mae (Kirchner) Teasdale.
Tootie worked in the Food Service Industry working in several of the businesses in the Cable area including her parent’s restaurant, the Red Gate Inn in Cable. She had a keen eye for beauty and enjoyed growing flowers, plants and landscaping her yard with the plants. She was a lover of all animals but especially her cats and dog.
She is survived by her loving mother, Patricia Teasdale of Cable; her brother, Jim (Kathy) Teasdale of Cable; and by her dog, Belle and four cats, Tiny, Harry, Rosie and Squirt.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harry (Jim) Teasdale.
All services and interment will be held privately.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the caring folks at Regional Hospice, Tamarack Health and the staff at Harbor Living in Hayward for the exceptional care not only given to Joy but to their entire family.
Memorials may be directed to the family to help care for all of Joy’s surviving animals.
