John Richard Danielson

“John John” Danielson, age 58, of Hayward, WI, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 after a brief battle with cancer at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN.

John Richard Danielson was born September 26, 1961 in Hayward, WI the son of Douglas and Helene (Johnson) Danielson.  He was raised in Hayward and graduated from Hayward High School in 1979.  Throughout his life, John worked in landscaping, tree service, home construction and as a maintenance mechanic for Links.  He spent his entire life in the Hayward area and was a member of the United Special Sportsman Alliance and Flambeau Forest Country Sportsman.  John had a passion for the outdoors and loved to hunt, fish, trap and take others out into the woods to do the same.  He especially loved the bear hunting season. 

John is survived by his partner of 19 years, Victoria Ludtke of Minong, WI; three siblings, Brett Danielson of Hayward, WI, Stacey (Mike) Kannenberg of Fredonia, WI, Beth (Dave) Boettcher of Kenosha, WI; one nephew, Eli; three nieces, Julie, Heidi and Megan; two half-brothers and one half-sister; and special friend, Julie Mansheim.

He was preceded in death by his parents.    

A funeral service for John John will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019 at the Hayward Wesleyan Church with Pastor Brian Poole officiating.  A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the church.  Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward.
