JoAnn Delph Obituary

JoAnn E. Delph (August 3rd 1938 to October 13th 2021), from Radisson WI, passed away at the Rice Lake Heritage Center with her family surrounding her with love as she went to be with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

JoAnn Elaine Delph (Holman) was born on August 3rd 1938 to Freida and Harold Holman in Kenosha, WI. She was the 3rd child and only daughter, she grew up in the Kenosha area. She attended Bradford High School. She was married at the age of 17 to Malcolm Carl Hansen from Provo, Utah on June 23rd 1956. To this union four children were born, Lynn 1957, Mark 1958, Brian 1959, Melanie 1961.

JoAnn had lived out west in her children’s early years with her husband Malcom and his family. The family returned to the Kenosha area when her children were grade school ages, they lived in the area until the early 1970’s when they decided to move to the northwest part of Wisconsin residing in the Ojibwa, WI. area. JoAnn remained in the area until her passing, where she resided in Radisson, WI with her husband Rich.

JoAnn had remarried to Robert W. Key from Ojibwa,WI.  until his passing in December of 1985. She had remarried again to John Reese from Radisson WI, in the middle 1980’s until his passing in December 1999. JoAnn remarried one last time to Richard G. Delph in September 2002 whom which she remained married to until her passing.

JoAnn loved spending time with her family and friends, singing, playing her guitar, and was an avid crafter. She loved to travel in her camper with her husband Rich to see loved ones and travel around the U.S. She was a true believer in Jesus Christ and held strong to her faith. JoAnn worked as a nurse’s aide most of her life, she also cooked until she retired working for the Meals on Wheels program in Winter, WI.

JoAnn is survived by her husband Rich Delph, her children Lynn Ehn (Ken), Mark Hansen (Diane), Brian Hansen (Janie), Melanie Keenan (Dave Adams), Step children Bill Delph (Linda), Rick Delph (Pam), Jim Delph (Colleen), and Scott Delph (Sammy). Her siblings Harold Holman (Adrianna), Sister-In-Law Joan Holman, Donald Holman (Joyce), sister in law Joyce Owens (Clyde) her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, her brother Henry Holman, her grandson Josh McNamar , two nephews Jeff Holman and Randall Holman.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be directed to the Winter Senior Center.
