Jerome L. “Butch” Frederick, age 82, of Winter, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at his home.
Jerome Louis Frederick was born June 15, 1943 in Racine, WI the son of Jerome M. and Julia (Morzejko) Frederick. He was raised in Kenosha, WI and attended school there. After his schooling, Butch became certified in welding and then took a job with American Brass in Kenosha. Butch would work for this company for over 30 years. On February 8, 1964, Butch was joined in marriage to Gloria Thompson in Kenosha County. Together they would raise their four children in Paris Township of Kenosha county. Over that time, the family would visit Winter, WI where Butch’s grandparents had property. Butch enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping and teaching others about them. After his retirement, Butch and Gloria moved up to the family property in Winter where Butch would guide for bear hunting and fishing. He also operated the town of Winter dump for many years.
Butch is survived by his four children, Deke Frederick, Mark Frederick, both of Kenosha, WI, Pamela (David) Linde of Trevor, WI, Amanda Frederick of Union Grove, WI; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Gloria.
No public services are being held for Butch at this time.
Butch’s family would like to thank Regional Hospice and Decan Michael Ryan for their care and attention they showed Butch.
