Jean Evelyn Rang

Jean Evelyn Rang, age 89 of Hayward, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Hayward Health Services.  She was born June 3, 1930 in Hayward, the daughter of George and Grace (Ewing) Woodbeck.  She was united in marriage to Harold Lester Rang on June 13, 1951 in Hayward.

Jean loved flowers and was an avid gardener.  She spent countless hours canning vegetables and wild game for her family.

She is survived by her children, Timothy (Marsha) Rang of Glidden and Allen (Roxanne) Rang of Hayward; her grandson, Josh Rang of Duluth; and her two great-granddaughters, Sarah and Erica. 

In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold; her granddaughter, Amy Johansen; and twelve siblings.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Monday June 24, 2019 at the Hayward Funeral Home, 15571 W. County Highway B in Hayward.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
