Harley J. Karow

Harley J. Karow, age 27, of Cable, WI passed away on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023.

Harley John Karow was born June 10, 1995, in Ashland, WI, the son of John Karow and Sharon Krupske.  He was raised in Hayward and then attended Hayward High School.  After school Harley moved to Cable, WI and began work in construction where he specialized in masonry work.  Harley was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on cars for friends and family.  His favorite pastime was riding motorcycles.

Harley is survived by his three children, Trenton and Idella Karow and Pheonix Karow; his mother, Sharon Krupske of Hayward; father, John Karow of Grandview, WI; siblings, Leah Hapner of Denver, CO, Kevin Hapner of St. Paul, MN; maternal grandmother, Pat Morua of Hayward; paternal grandfather, Harley Karow; significant other, Kristen Brabbs; and his dog, Nicco.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jerome Krupske; paternal grandmother, Mable Banks;  step grandfather, Tom Morua; aunt, Jenny Krupske; and cousin, Tommy Krupske.

A memorial service will be held for Harley at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Hayward Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Hilgendorf officiating.  A time of gathering with the family will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
