Obituary
Guy Obert Wagner Jr., age 78, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023, at his residence in Hayward, WI. He was born on May 31, 1944 in Storm Lake, Iowa, the son of Guy Obert Wagner Sr. and Frances Mae Cox. He was united in marriage to Ester Gacayan Lopez on April 30, 1994, in Storm Lake, IA.
Guy proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He enjoyed antiques and was skilled at refinishing wood furniture. Guy loved the Northwoods and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ester Wagner of Hayward; his children, Guy (Salena) Wagner III of Hayward and Ryan Lopez of Phoenix, AZ; his granddaughters, Annetta Grace Wagner and Natalie Elouise Wagner; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wallace Wagner; and his sisters, Camilla Pierce and Sherry Sweat.
