Geraldine Marie Martin

Geraldine “Gerri” M. Martin, age 60, of Stone Lake, WI passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at her home.

Gerri was born September 10, 1964, in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Wesley and Dorothy (Winkelman) Schlafer.  Gerri was raised in Hartland, WI and graduated from Arrowhead High School.  For most of her working career, Gerri worked for Dana Corp. in Milwaukee as a press operator.  On October 12, 2001, Gerri was joined in marriage to Dale Martin in Waukesha, WI.  Gerri and Dale moved to Stone Lake, WI in 2008.  Gerri enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing, gardening and playing games or working on puzzles. 

Gerri is survived by her husband, Dale; three step-children, Pat (Amanda) Martin of Hartland, WI, Chris (Charlene) Martin of Malone, WI, Shawn Martin of Coleman, WI; four grandchildren, Alex, Cassie, Lucas and Darryl; five siblings, Darlene Pillsbury of Hustisford, WI, Jeanette (John) Rehlinger of Lake Five, WI, Beverly (Jim) Von Rueden, Lois Henning and Ralph Schlafer, all of Lisbon, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Art and Ronald Schlafer.

In accordance with Gerri’s wishes, no services are being held.
