Frank J. Lenarchich, age 69, of Winter, WI passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at his home.
Frank James Lenarchich was born June 2, 1954 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Frank and Helen (Hansen) Lenarchich. He was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Pulaski High School in Milwaukee in 1972. After school he apprenticed as a tool and die maker for several years before becoming a full-time fireman for the city of Milwaukee. On June 15, 1996, Frank was joined in marriage to Diane Borhart in Milwaukee. Frank had purchased a plot of land on Barber Lake near Winter, WI and began constructing his own home on the lake. He was an accomplished carpenter and did most of the work on his home in Winter. Frank continued his work in the Milwaukee Fire Department for over 20 years and then retired and moved to the home he built in Winter. Frank was also an avid deer hunter, walleye fisherman and golfer. He was a dedicated and loving husband.
Frank is survived by his wife of 27 years, Diane; two brothers, Joe (Kathy) Lenarchich of Mukwonago, WI, John Lenarchich of Milwaukee; mother-in-law, Evelyn Borhart; two nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Geoffrey Lenarchich; and father-in-law, Gerald Borhart.
A Memorial Service will be held for Frank at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2023 at the Winter Evangelical Free Church. A Memorial Service for Frank will be held at St. Gregory the Great Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00 am until the time of service.
