Francis Jackson “Jack” Beach, age 86, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Dove Healthcare in Spooner, WI. He was born on December 31, 1938 in Colleton County, South Carolina, the son of Joseph and Mary (Boggess) Beach.
Jack proudly served his country with the United States Air Force, retiring after 22 years. His service as a communications specialist took him to many Air Force bases in the United States as well as time stationed in the countries of Turkey, Germany, and Brazil. Upon retirement in 1978, he had a second career as a crabber and fisherman in Beaufort and Charleston, SC. He was a jack of all trades and could fix nearly anything. Jack loved to read. He had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed spending time on the rivers of South Carolina.
He is survived by his children, Laura Beach of Winter, WI and William (Coleen) Beach of Moncks Corner, SC; his grandchildren, Erin (Greg) Ferland, William F. (Cassandra) Suter, Robert Suter and Matthew Suter; his great-grandchildren Gregory (Samantha) Ferland and Katie (Tyler) Connelly; great-grandchildren, Brantley, Rowan and Sawyer; his sister, Mary Frances Spoonmore; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia (Madden) Beach; his second wife, Johnnie Mae Beach; and his brothers, Joseph Jr., George and Johnny Beach.
All services and interment will take place privately.
