Evelda M Anderson, aged 91, died on June 8, 2025, at Dove Healthcare in Spooner, Wisconsin. Evelda was born January 13, 1934, in St Louis County, Duluth Minnesota. The daughter of Aaron Slayton and Minna Slayton (Gallenback).
She attended elementary school in Park Falls, Wisconsin and high school in Spooner, Wisconsin.
On September 22, 1950, Evelda married Oswald Heller at Anah Church, Crystal Township, Wisconsin. From this union, three daughters were born, Cindy, Gloria, and Nancy.
Evelda worked at B.J. Supper Club as a waitress. As well as Bensons Sewing Factory, National Tea Grocery Store, Economart Deli, White Armature, the Onion Factory in Rice Lake, and Northwoods Bar (now Wobblin Duck) in Spooner, Wisconsin, bartending at night from 1979-2013.
On June 28, 1980, Evelda married Edward J Anderson.
Evelda is survived by daughters, Cindy Smith (Bob Hauk), Gloria (Scott) Butterfield, and Nancy (Paul) Busby; stepdaughters, Toni and Sue; and sister, Norma Wagner. Including seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her parents; and brother.
Interment will be at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
