Eric "Rick" Lawrence Allen

Eric (Rick) Lawrence Allen, 68, Drummond, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Rick was born on June 13, 1958 to Thomas and Joan (Clarke) Allen. He graduated from Drummond High School in 1976. Rick was an over the road truck driver for the majority of his career. Bartended, cooked and ran his own business Allen’s Construction.

He was currently serving as the Commander Sons of the American Legion SQD 487 and was the Executive Officer of Cub Scout Pack 350. Rick rode motorcycles and had been Bayfield County Area Rep for ABATE of WI Region 6 focused on motorcycle rights. Rick also ran the Motorcycle Escort Crew for Grandview’s Firehouse 50 Bicycle Race. He enjoyed his vacations in Mexico, made some trips to Daytona and locations unknown. No matter where he went, someone knew Rick and his sense of humor.

He is survived by his brothers Thomas, Two Rivers, WI, Robert Allen, Ashland, Michael and James of Cable. He is further survived by his nephews. Eric was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Allen.

A Celebration of Eric’s life will be held at American Legion Post 487, 43495 Trail Inn Road, Cable WI  on Saturday, August 1, 2026 starting at 12:00pm.
