Obituary
On March 22, 2023, Ellen Mae (Ellie) Huntress passed peacefully in her sleep at age 89.
Ellie worked for Medtronic Mounds View office in Minnesota. She was a long-time resident of Shoreview, MN with her husband, Mick. They made their cabin a retirement home and have lived in Spooner for 40 years.
Ellie is preceded in death by son, Ricky Block and daughter, Sandee Guse (Duane).
She is survived by loving husband, Warren (Mick) Huntress; children, Jodee Block Staeheli, Ronnie Block (Kathy), Joel Block (Rose), Scott Huntress, Laureen Riebe (Jim), Lisa Weber (Jim), and Steve Huntress; grandchildren, Nicole Holl (Joe), Natalie Cheskis (Anton), Tracy Ardoff (Fred), Amber Brown (Keegan), Casey Block, Tyler Block, Savannah Block, Branden Block, Scotty Huntress (Tara), Stephanie Huntress (Jason), Connar Huntress, Tatum Huntress, Taylor Huntress, and Brent Reichstadt (Angel); and many more grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 409 N Summit Steet, Spooner, WI 54801 with a visitation one hour prior.
