Dustin Vaughn Obituary

Dustin Vaughn 38, of Solon Springs (previously Fon du Lac, WI), passed away on Thursday, January 8th at his home, ending his pain, after a long struggle with depression.  Dustin was born to Clara Tillou (Eden, WI) on April 18th, 1987.  He was a jack of all trades, and held jobs as a truck driver, diesel mechanic, concrete work, and construction.  Although his time on earth was cut short, he made a huge impact on anyone he met with his contagious smile and gigantic heart.  He was always willing to help anyone no matter what the circumstances were.

Dustin met his wife Auburne in 2019.  They moved to Solon Springs in 2022 to begin a new life up north and were married in 2024.  They were soulmates and did everything together, you rarely saw them apart.  Fishing, hunting, canning, playing bags, four wheeling, the list goes on, as long as they were together, anything was an adventure.  One of Dustin’s favorite things to do, was sturgeon spearing with his best friend Pat, although Auburne never understood it (it’s like shooting ducks out of a chimney).  He was always moving (even when he wasn’t supposed to) and could never sit still.  He would fix something even if it wasn’t broken, just to be up and moving.  Although he is gone, we can cherish the memories we have of him, and remember the good-hearted, fun-loving person he was.

Dustin is survived by his Mother and Stepfather Clara and Danny Tillou, his wife Auburne, his in-laws Dave and Tracy Maass, his children Haylee Vaughn and Nathan (Kylie) Vaughn, his grandchildren Wrenleigh and Kohen, his brother John Vaughn, and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his two half sisters Tiffany and Stephanie, his Aunt Ila, Aunt Rose, Uncle Leonard, Grandma Doris and Grandpa Clarance.

Dustin did not want a funeral so a celebration of life will be planned at a later date for friends and family to celebrate his life in a way he wanted.
