Dennis Alan Shisler

Dennis A. Shisler, age 72, of Hayward, WI passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at his home.

Dennis Alan Shisler was born October 29, 1953 in Hibbing, MN the son of Billie and Annabelle (Guerard) Shisler.  Dennis moved with his family but spent much of his youth in Duluth, MN where he graduated from high school.  Dennis worked in the logging industry in Culver, MN for a time before becoming an over the road trucker.  Most of his years he spent with Jeff Foster Trucking out of Superior, WI.  After retirement, Dennis moved to Hayward, WI.  Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and all of his rescue dogs.  Dennis loved his children. 

Dennis is survived by his three children, Andy Shisler of Hayward, WI, Teena Shisler of Springbrook, WI, Jenny (Scott) Flamang of Springbrook, WI; seven grandchildren; one sister, Kathie (Martin) Botten of Kennan, WI; one brother, Steven Shisler of Superior, WI; and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family gathering is being planned for Dennis.
