Deborah Sather, age 69, of Springbrook, WI, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Essentia-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN.
Deborah Kay was born April 14, 1955, the daughter of Donald and Kay (Morgan) Kutz. She was raised in Janesville, WI until her senior year when her family moved to Hayward, WI. Deb graduated from Hayward High School early and then moved back to southern, WI. Deb took a job with Rock County Health Care Center where she would work over 40 years. On July 3, 1979, Deb was joined in marriage to Michael Sather in Janesville. She and Michael lived in Milton, WI until 2014 when she moved to the town of Stinnett. Deb enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, bonfires and listening to Hard Rock loudly in the basement. She will be remembered by her family for her selflessness and willingness to help others.
Deb is survived by her two children, Mike (Brenda) Sather of Milton, WI, Becky Sather of Orfordville, WI; three grandchildren, Blake, Kayla, Jason; two step grandchildren, Aubrey and Brandon; mother, Kay Hoffman of Stanberry, WI; special friend, Fred Nitz; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Mable.
She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Mike; brother, Randy Hoffman; and grandson Gunnar.
A private family gathering is being planned for Deb.
