Deborah Anne Krauss passed away on November 25, 2024, at Hayward Health Services in Hayward, Wisconsin.
Deborah was born on January 1, 1952, in Holland, Michigan as one of seven siblings to parents, Calvin and Jeanette (Mierhofer) Krauss.
Deborah worked at the local lumbermill in Drummond, Wisconsin, and was a co-owner with her father, Calvin, in a welding business. After closing the welding shop, she enjoyed working side by side with her father doing woodworking. She also enjoyed taking care of her lawn, rescuing dogs in need, crocheting, and baking – especially around the holidays.
Deborah is survived by siblings; Patricia (Larry) Loch of Drummond, WI, Joanna Krauss of Cable, WI, Michael Krauss of Twin Cities, MN, Kelly Krauss of Minong, WI, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Jeanette Krauss; one sister, Beverly Krauss, and one brother, Chris Krauss.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Deborah at noon on Saturday, November 30th, 2024 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Cable, WI with Father David Neuschwander officiating. A time of gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Saturday. A private interment will be in the spring at the St. Ann Cemetery in Cable.
