David J. Boyle

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of David J. Boyle, age 61, the son of James and Bette (Buvick) Boyle.   David was born on May 14, 1963 in Ashland, WI, and passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 in Spooner, WI.

David graduated from Ashland High School.  He greatly enjoyed the Northwoods, especially fishing and long pontoon rides with his family and friends at his cabin on Blake Lake. 

He is survived by his brother, Stephen (Chris) Boyle of Eau Claire, WI; his sisters, Linda Creps of Milwaukee, WI, Muffy Boyle of Luck, WI, Pam Larson of Oconomowoc, WI and Kathy (Dave) Van Thiel of Hartland, WI; sister-in-law Brenda Boyle Verhagen; longtime companion Becky Swenson, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Bette Boyle, and by his four brothers, Mike, Tim, Ricky and John. 

Private funeral services are being planned by his family.
