David Jesse Bishop

David Jesse Bishop, 82, of Frederic, Wisconsin, passed away on September 30, 2025. He was very proud to have served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and later served in, and retired from, the U.S. Air Force.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Helen Bishop, and his siblings Jacklyn Ronning, Janice Ho, Sharon Mack, Keith Bishop, Michael Bishop, and Judy Sebron. He is survived by his children, Amy Miskelley and Rebecca McAbee, and his grandchildren Daniel, Jonathan, Ella, Abigail, and Tyler, as well as many other loving family members and friends.

A committal service will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin, on October 24, 2025, at 11 a.m.
