Craig Leon Hawkinson

Craig Leon Hawkinson "Nick" was born December 13, 1948 in Eugene, Oregon.  Son of Earl and Evelyn Hawkinson, Blaine, MN and brother to Garry Allen Hawkinson, East Bethel, MN. 

His battle with cancer came to a close on October 12th, 2024, in Spooner, WI, at the age of 75. 

Craig graduated from Spring Lake Park High School MN, class of 1966.

His favorite interests and hobbies included classic cars, mechanics, motorcycles, music, concerts, fishing and memorable times at the local saloon with close friends! 

His is survived by niece, Susan Lyn Slater; her son, Joseph Edward Slater; nephew, Todd Allen Hawkinson; and cousin, Virginia "Ginny" Dowdy.

Craig is also remembered by many close friends.

Interment took place on October 31, 2024, at Lakeview Cemetery in Two Harbors, MN.  Craig will be laid to rest next to his brother, Garry Hawkinson.
