Carol Ann Farrell

Carol Ann Farrell, age 80, of Lake Nebagamon, WI, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2020, at Aspen Health and Rehabilitation in South Range, WI.

Carol was born on February 19, 1940, to Frank and Esther (Marek) Armbruster in River Falls, WI.  She married Don Filkins in December of 1956 and they had six children.  She married Vernon Farrell on March 12, 1977.  Vernon and Carol lived in Prescott, WI, until 1979 and then moved to Hudson, WI, until retirement.  They summered in the Lake Nebagamon area and wintered in Crystal River, FL.  Carol enjoyed traveling, fishing, winters in Florida, time with family, and dancing.  She was a successful realtor in Hudson, WI, for many years.  She also enjoyed her time at the casinos occasionally and loved playing Skip-Bo card game with family and friends.

Carol is survived by her husband, Vernon Farrell; six children, Sherry (Mark) Randolph, Julie (Danny) Belden, Dennis (Jill) Filkins, Roxie (Jim) Schommer, Doug Filkins and Connie (Marc) Smith; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.  Also, three stepdaughters, Robin (Dennis) Peterson, Jamie (Sean) Jenkins, and Kelly (Roger) Peterson; 8 step grandchildren, 10 step great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Loretta Farrell and brother-in-law Frank Farrell.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Don Filkins, and her parents.
