Carol A. Borgman, age 78, of Winter, WI passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at her home.
Carol Ann Kraus was born May 1, 1946, in Aurora, IL the daughter of Eberhardt and Nancy (Palm) Kraus. She was raised in La Grange, IL and would graduate from Lyons Township High School. She worked as a waitress in her younger years and then was a mother raising her two children. Carol would work in scheduling for the Official Airlines Guides for several years. On June 15, 1984, Carol was united in marriage to Frank Borgman in Nevada. The couple would purchase a cabin in Winter, WI in 2003 and make it their full-time home in 2005 after Carol left work at OAG. While in Winter, Carol worked for the Winter Green House and at a camp for girls on Hunter Lake. She truly enjoyed the nature found in northern Wisconsin. Carol also liked to read, fish for musky and pan fish, and go riding with her ATV club, the 4-Wheeling Warriors.
Carol is survived by her husband of 40 years, Frank; her daughter, Wendy Tygesson of Eagle River, Ontario; step-son, Mike (Samantha) Borgman of La Grange, IL; and one grandson, Tony Borgman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, James Tygesson.
A private family gathering will be held for Carol in the summer.
