Beverly Ann Schaefer

Beverly Ann Schaefer, age 84, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, at American Lutheran Communities in Menomonie, Wisconsin, surrounded by family.

Bev was born on January 23, 1940, to William and Mae (Grant) Osborn in Spooner, Wisconsin.  Beverly met her husband, Allan Zillmer, while he was hauling milk for her parents.  Beverly and Allan were united in marriage on June 10, 1959, and were blessed with four daughters.  Allan passed away in May of 2000.  Beverly then met Paul Schaefer, and they were united in marriage on July 24, 2004.  Paul passed away in March of 2019. 

Beverly is survived by daughters Debra (Dave), Darlene, Bonnie (Daryl), and Becky (Jeff); 9 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mae; two brothers, William and Don; one sister, Ruby; and two husbands, Allan and Paul.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Spooner Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at the Spooner Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Hwy. 70.
