Beau Edward Vasas

Beau Edward Vasas left us too soon on Sunday, May 31 2026, at the age of 41. He was born on September 8, 1984, in Spooner, WI, the son of Edward William Vasas and Josephien Cecilia Osmundson. 

Beau was a true people person and had a long career in the service industry as a server and bartender. In later life, he worked in the carpentry and landscaping trades. Beau had a gregarious personality and a wicked sense of humor. He made many friends during his lifetime. He loved music, going to concerts, and music festivals. He loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, and canoeing. He also enjoyed woodworking and made beautiful cutting boards.

He is survived by his mother, Josephien Osmundson of Seeley, WI; his father, Edward (Kathleen Page) Vasas of Danbury, WI; his sister, Ashley (Nick Gerber) Vasas of Minneapolis, MN; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other dear family members and friends; and by his beloved dog, Luke.

Beau is preceded in death by his stepfather, Roger Osmundson.

Beau will be remembered for his wit, sense of humor, and love and loyalty to his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Spider Lake Church, 12104 N Lower Twin Lake Road, Hayward, WI. A gathering for close friends and family will be held from 1-4:00 PM at the home of Josephien Osmundson.
