Barbara Ann Doskey

Barbara Ann Doskey, 80, of Solon Springs, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota.

Barbara was born on September 20, 1939 in Spooner, Wisconsin.  She was a LPN, nurse, for most of her career.  She began at St. Mary’s in Duluth, and then worked at The Middle River Health Care Facility, where she spent most of her life working as a LPN for twenty years and  as a social worker and in medical records for the last five years, before her retirement.  Barb was a wonderful wife and mother.  She enjoyed; fishing, playing cards, cooking, baking, and visiting and laughing with family and friends.  Most of all, she really loved spending time with her granddaughter, Brianna, and her great-granddaughter, Kacy.

Barb is survived by; her husband, Eugene, sons, Joseph (Sherry) Doskey of Bennett, Wisconsin, and Richard Doskey of Superior, Wisconsin, grandchildren, Devin, Dusty, and Brianna, and great-granddaughter, Kacy.  She was preceded in death by, her mother, Pauline Dahl, sister, Diane Mattson, and son, Michael Doskey.  She will be sadly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing Barb.

A graveside service will be held for Barb on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM at The Evergreen Cemetery in Solon Springs, Wisconsin with Father James Kinney officiating.  Arrangements were entrusted to The Solon Springs Funeral Home.
