Ashley Fogal-Vangilder, age 39, of Hayward, WI, passed away on April 12, 2026.
Ashley was born on June 21, 1986, to Sherri Vangilder and Don Fogal. She was known for her bright spirit, her distinct and unforgettable laugh, and a smile that could light up any room. Ashley had a deep passion for church recently and found joy and peace in reading and taking nature walks. Above all, Ashley cherished her family. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandbaby Willow Rain, who brought her immense happiness and pride.
Ashley will be remembered for her kindness, her faith, and the warmth she shared so freely with others. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Ashley's laughter, love, and light will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Ashley is survived by her mother Sherri Vangilder and father Mitch Melton; son, Joshua Quaderer Jr.; daughters, Aleanna Quaderer, Cayah Hamilton, Lileighanna and Raeleighanna Messina; her special granddaughter, Willow Rain McPeak-Quaderer; and her siblings, Danielle (Brittney) Carpenter-Fogal, Donny Fogal, Matt Melton, Sarah Melton, Erik Fogal, and Jerry Fogal.
She was preceded in death by her grandma, Peggy Vangilder and her oldest children's father, Joshua Quaderer Sr.
A gathering will begin at 3:00 PM at the Longbranch Saloon & Eatery on Saturday, April 18, 2026. A service officiated by Pastor Ben Kidder will begin at 4:00 PM at Longbranch and will conclude with a gathering until 7:00PM. A burial will take place on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward.
